Clark William Jones' Obituary
Clark William Jones, a cherished father, beloved brother, and devoted grandparent, passed away on July 1, 2025, in Leesville, Louisiana, at the age of 75. Born on September 13, 1949, in Troy, New York, Clark was the son of Ralph and Robertine Lesson Jones.
Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Robertine Jones, his brother Paul Jones, and his grandson Zorn Jones.
He is survived by his three children: Rachel Jones of Midland, Texas, Brian Jones of Bakersfield, California, and Michael Jones and his wife Crystal of Killeen, Texas. He also leaves behind his siblings, including brothers David Jones of Porters Corners, New York, Robert Jones of Shaker Heights, Ohio, and Todd Jones of Wiesbaden, Germany, as well as his sister Sue Klamp of Galway, New York. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Ashley Clark (Colin), Courtney Jones, Austin Jones, Megan Carr, Emma Weingardt, Lillie Sue Jones, and Holly Marie Jones and one great grandchild. Additionally, his family is excited to welcome one grandchild on the way who will be named Michael Clark Jones, ensuring that his spirit will live on through future generations.
Clark proudly served his country in the United States Army, demonstrating his patriotism and dedication. He was an active member of the American Legion #145 in Leesville, Louisiana, where he contributed to his community by participating in and working Bingo events.
A man of many interests, Clark had a particular love for baseball, where he not only enjoyed watching games but also coached a team in the League on Post. He was an enthusiastic card player, often found enjoying the thrill of the casino, and he loved engaging with friends and family through games on social media, especially "Words With Friends."
Clark’s family will receive friends on Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. at the American Legion Post 145 in Leesville, Louisiana.
