Funeral services for Clarence “Boots” Causey, 59, of DeRidder, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. Roger Whittington officiating. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 14th from 6 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday, February 15th from 9:00 a.m. until service time in the chapel.
Clarence, the son of Ceasal Murrell and Eula Fontenot Causey was born May 11, 1954, in Baton Rouge, LA. He passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at his residence in DeRidder, LA.
Mr. Causey worked in the oil industry. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, gardening, listening to his music, reading and cooking. Most of all he loved his family.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Reba Causey of DeRidder, LA; sons, Jason Causey & wife, Suzie of Plaucheville, LA and Jeremy Causey of Bayou Chicot, LA; daughter, Jodi Causey Parker & husband, Tim of Little Cypress, TX; mother, Eula Causey of Leesville, LA; brother, Jack Causey & wife Debbie of Leesville, LA sisters, Pam McCarty & husband Dodd of Mobile, AL and Rene’ Duhon & husband Darrell of Leesville, LA; grandchildren, Lincoln Causey, Austin Causey, Lani Causey, Jayden Causey and Dalton Causey and numerous nieces and nephews.
