Mrs. Spence was such a blessing to have have had the honor to know and love. She was always bringing a smile, friendly and loving to be around. Her husband Jack and she was truly a blessing and their son Steven was a friend. I saw her in the wal-mart parking lot when visiting dad one weekend in 2009. It was an honor to have been able to speak with her. A perfect lady was called home and i know she was ready her master to met and reunite with her spouse and son.

We always loved our visits with Aunt Clara and Uncle Jack when they were traveling in East Tennesse. She was a terrific example of God working through people's lives here on earth. She will be missed.
Mrs. Spence was a wonderful teacher to many students including myself at PHS. I had the joy of knowing her family at First Baptist Church, Pitkin. She was the heart of a great Christian family and a great friend.
Clara Grace impressed me profoundly as the wonderful, gentle woman she was. My associations with her in Delta Kappa Gamma are treasured memories, and we will certainly miss her faithfulness, her loving ways, and her experiences in education.
I always had the greatest respect for Clara and her husband Jack. They were two of the finest people I have ever known. Clara was always so caring and interested in my family's well being and so proud of my kids. I will miss the conversations we had. I take comfort in the fact she is now reunited with Jack and Steven.
Aunt Clara Grace was a wonderful and loving aunt. I will miss her very much.
