Clara Addison's Obituary
Funeral services for Clara Addison, 87, of Anacoco will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Good Hope Baptist Church in Anacoco with Rev. Wallace Palmer and Huey Haymon officiating. The burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery.
Friends may visit Wednesday, November 11th, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the funeral home and then Thursday, November 12th from 9 am until service in the church. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana.
Mrs. Addison passed away on Monday, November 10th at her daughter’s residence in Anacoco.
Clara was the daughter of Albert and Annie Howard Gunter. She was a lifelong residence of Vernon Parish. She was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She loved to quilt, do ceramics, make Straw baskets and paint. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 43 years Homer Addison.
She is survived by daughter, Willie Ruth (husband, Billy) Martin and son Charles B. (wife, Kathy) Addison all of Anacoco; 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
