Clara Fullen Brewer, 68, of DeRidder, LA, went to be with the Lord on February 14, 2013. She died at M. D. Anderson in Houston, TX, as a result of a long battle of cancer. Funeral Service for Mrs. Brewer will be held on Saturday, Read Obituary

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone. Her warmth and love were always constants; I simply cannot recall a time when she was not smiling and not radiating love and kindness for everyone she met. I was blessed to have her as a cousin, and she will be sorely missed.
My heart overflows with the memories we made and struggles and secrets we shared. Clara was a mentor, spiritual sister, confidant and friend. I thank God for her life and rejoice in knowing she is with her savior now.
A beautiful person has been called home. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
Clara's smile and laughter always made you feel like part of the family, and she truly loved the Lord. She was always so patient with me as I sometimes subbed for John as song leader, knowing I could not read music nor count time! Godspeed, Clara!!!
We were so lucky to have Clara in our family. I know that the angels are singing as they welcome her home. I will always remember her smile, kindness and loving heart.
