Funeral services for Christopher Allen Mitchell, Sr., 53, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at Grace Bible Church in Leesville at 3:00 PM, Sunday, December 30, 2012 with Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5pm until 9 pm Saturday, December 29th at the funeral home and then Sunday, December 30th from 1 pm until service time at the church.
Christopher, the son of James Gordon and Bobbye Claire Horn Mitchell was born October 26, 1959, in Sabine Parish, LA. He passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012, in Leesville, LA.
Christopher was a member of the Grace Bible Church and was proceeded in death by step-father Gerald Gooch and father James Gordon Mitchell
He is survived by his Wife of 29 years, Cora Mitchell of Leesville; Sons, Gary Lee Mitchell of Leesville & Christopher Mitchell, Jr., of Yokohoma, Japan; Daughter, Ann Mitchell of Leesville; Mother, Bobbye Claire Horn Gooch of Leesville; Brother, James Dennis Mitchell of Moss Bluff; Sisters, Linda Diane Serritt of Lake Charles & Angela Joy Bertrand of Franklin, TX and grandchildren, Olivia Lenae Gohr, Amberlyn Kay Wallace, Roselind Lee “Lily” Mitchell and Christopher Allen Mitchell III.
