Christine Moore's Obituary
Funeral services for Christine Marie Moore, 73, of Leesville, will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 9:00 A.M– 9:30 A.M in the funeral home.
Christine was born on March 10, 1950 in Vocklabruck, Austria, to her parents, Walter and Cathrina Pauliner. She passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 11, 2023 in Leesville.
At the age of 17 Christine met the love of her life, Robert Richard Moore, an American Army Solider. At the age of 19, she traveled to the United States with Robert and on February 1, 1969 they were married in LaPorte, Indiana. They had two sons Raymond Moore on March 11, 1970 and Gerald Moore on January 26, 1971. Christine has five grandchildren; Gage and wife Marissa, Taylor and fiancée Micah Terral, Kira and Kelsie born to Raymond and wife Stacy, Garrett which was born to Gerald. She also had six great grandchildren.
Christine, Robert and their two boys lived in many states during his 21 years of military service. They lived a quiet and modest life enjoying gardening, taking the grandkids fishing, family and each other. She was smart, determined and undeniably unfiltered, which only made you love her more.
She will always be loved and never forgotten in both our hearts and memories, without a doubt she will be missed by all.
