Chon Suk Marcum's Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Chon Suk Marcum will be held at 1:00p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2008 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Pine Island Cemetery in Leesville.
Mrs. Marcum, 56, of New Llano passed away Wednesday January 16, 2008 in the Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, La.
Mrs. Marcum came from South Korea to Alexandria, La. In 1985 with her husband, Wilson J. Marcum, who was in the United States Airforce and was stationed at England Airforce Base. In 1992 she moved to New Llano. She was a member of the Leesville Korean Baptist Church where she was very involved and loved her church family. She was a homemaker and loved her four dogs; Coco, Jackie, Eve, and Princess. Mrs. Marcum was a loving mother and was a mother figure for many young people.
She is survived by: Daughter and Son-in-law – MiHwa & Frank Sanchez of New Llano, La.; 2 brothers and 3 Sisters.
She was preceded in death by her Husband – Wilson J. Marcum
Pallbearers will be: Frank Sanchez, Billy Crouse, Joe Sanchez, David Sanchez, Sam Wright, Richard Kelley
