Cheryl Mitchell Tilley's Obituary
Funeral services for Cheryl Tilley, 62, of Anacoco, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 29, 2020 in the First Baptist Church of Anacoco with Rev. Jason Kees officiating. Burial will follow in the Prewitt’s Chapel Cemetery in Hornbeck, LA.
Visitation will be Friday, August 28, from 6:00 P.M– 9:00 P.M in the church.
Cheryl was born on September 19, 1957 in Alexandria, LA. She passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at her home in Anacoco, LA.
She was an educator for 40+ years and loved every moment she spent teaching and spending time with her students. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Cheryl had a big heart and was loved by all who knew her.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her father, Harold Mitchell.
Left to cherish her memory is her Daughter: Jennifer Hansen and husband, Shane of Junction City, KS; Son: Scotty Tilley and wife, Andrea of Leesville, LA; Father of her children: Gary Tilley; Grandchildren: Kaleb Hansen, Riley Hansen, Brayden Hansen, Jonah Tilley, Allie Tilley; her mother: Sammie West of Baton Rouge, LA; her sister: Dana Lofton and husband, Alan of Baton Rouge, LA.
