Funeral services for Cheryl Lynn Pigott Magee, 53 of Leesville, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 25, 2022 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 9:00 A.M until time of service in the funeral home.
Cheryl Magee was born in Angie, LA on September 23, 1968. She graduated from Varnado High School in Varnado, LA in 1986.
Cheryl was a food service worker and caterer for over 30 years. She was also a loving wife, mother and friend to all. Making family wherever she went, Cheryl was a pillar of her community. She was an inspiration to anyone who knew her. Cheryl was continually involved with outreach projects, weather group organized or giving personally of her on time and resources. She was always eager to help and determined to make a positive impact in the lives of others. “Mamma Cheryl” or Nanny as she was affectionately called, will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and the members of the community she lived to serve.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Kenneth Wayne Magee, grandmother; Elouise Pigott, brother; Lonnie Bernard Pigott, grandchildren; Andrew Donald Mosley IV and Aurora Babbette Mosley.
Cheryl’s survived by her mother; Geraldine Pigott, sisters; Jennifer Peters, Patricia Pigott, Lisa Pigott and Trina Pigott, daughters; Trinica Pigott (Joseph Caldwell), and Alvia Carter, sons; Michael Pigott (Danyel Owens) and Jessie Magee, nephews; Lester Pigott (Bridgette Pigott) Willie Peters Jr, Jerry Peters, Pierre Pigott (Jocelyn Pigott) , Chancelor Peters , Lonnie Frances, nieces; Lashonda Peters, Markeeta Peters, Louiesha Pigott, Danshay Pigott , Lacursha Pigott, grandchildren; Giselle Day , Coleana Pigott, Octavia Mosely, Layla Magee, Laila Henson, Jessie Magee Jr., and Mya Pigott.
