Cheryl Sue Kile Craft's Obituary
Funeral services for Cheryl Sue Kile Craft, 71, of Anacoco, LA will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at 2 pm at Old Anacoco Baptist Church in Leesville, LA with Rev. Wayne Chance officiating. The burial will follow in the Old Anacoco Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 31, 2016, from 5 pm until 9 pm at Labby Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday, June 1, at 2 pm with visitation from 12 noon until the beginning of the service at the church.
Cheryl was born on August 16, 1944 in Leesville, Louisiana and is the daughter of Floyd A. and Elizabeth Smart Kile. She passed away on Saturday, May 28th at Grace Home Hospice in Alexandria, LA.
Cheryl was a devoted daughter, dedicated wife, loving and caring mother, and a proud Nana. Cheryl spent her entire life being a friend and helping others. Her greatest joy was spending time with friends and family. Cheryl retired from the Vernon Parish School Board office after 30 plus years of service. She had a passion for education and touched the lives of countless teachers throughout the years.
Cheryl was a member of Old Anacoco Baptist Church. Her faith was strong and she found great comfort in knowing that her continued journey would be with the Lord and those that passed before her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd A. Kile; husband, Robert Neal “Bobby” Craft; sister, Linda Elizabeth Kile Perkins, and grandson, Aaron Austin Fletcher.
She is survived by her son, Darron Neal and wife Stacie Cleveland Craft of Benton, LA; daughter, Elizabeth Jeanette Roberts of Burkeville, TX; mother, Elizabeth S. Kile of Leesville; grandchildren, Ashley and Jason Lieser, Tanner Neal Craft, and Raelee Joy Craft; two great grandchildren, Grace Elizabeth Lieser and Anna Lane Lieser.
Cheryl’s family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Baptist Children’s Home – P. O. Box 4196 - Monroe, Louisiana 71211 or the charity of your choice.
