Cheryl "Jean" Johnson's Obituary
Funeral services for Cheryl “Jean” Johnson, 63, of Cravens will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at 2 pm in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, with Rev. Tommy Hall and Rev Russel Devor officiating, the burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery in Cravens. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5th, from 4 pm until 9 pm in the funeral home then 8 am, Wednesday, July 6th until service time in the funeral home.
Jean the daughter of Harry and Sharon Peters Davis was born on December 15, 1952 in Sioux City, Iowa, she passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at her residence in Cravens.
Jean worked as a bookkeeper/manager for B&B Trucking for many years. She was a member of the Glade Branch Baptist Church. Jean was a loving daughter, wife, mother and Maw Maw. She truly enjoyed researching family history and scrape booking. She was preceded in death by her dad Harry P. Davis
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Walt Johnson of Cravens; sons, Travis James (wife, Summer) Boyle of Leesville, LA, Trent John (wife, Megan) Johnson of Leesville, Tyler Jay (wife, Catherine) Johnson of Cravens; Daughter, Mylissa Kay (husband, Justin) Green of Cravens; brother, Edwin L. Davis of Aransas Pass, TX; sister, Sherlyn Ramirez of; mother, Sharon Kay Davis of Aransas Pass, TX; grandchildren, Katherine Hunter Boyle, Anderson Davis Boyle, Trenton “Gage” Johnson, Everly Kay Johnson, Tayler Cheyenne Johnson, Tyler Lane Johnson, Trinity Alayna Johnson, Hunter Lynn, Laythen Chance, Jayden Grace Green and McKinley Paige Green.
