Cheryl Houston's Obituary
Visitation for Mrs. Cheryl A. Houston will be held on Friday February 15, 2008 at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, La from 2p.m. til 8p.m.
Funeral services will be held at a later date in Roswell New Mexico.
Mrs. Houston was born in Roswell New Mexico, she moved to DeRidder in 1981. She was a retired nurse working for Fort Polk Medical Clinics and Bayne Jones Army Hospital, and Beauregard Memorial Hospital. She was an organizer and charter member of Methodist Momma's Red Hat Society. She was a volunteer advocate at CASA in DeRidder, and a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in DeRidder.
Mrs. Houston is survived by: Her husband - Gerald Houston of DeRidder, La.; One Son - Jerry Houston of Raleigh, NC; One Brother - Carlton Walker of Roswell, NM; One Sister - Jody Walker Seeley of Roswell, NM.
