LIFE OF CHERYL HORN...written by TONY LEGATO...
I was blessed to share much time with Cheryl over these last eight years. Cheryl is a beautiful soul and she gladly shared her time, friendship, & love with me and so many others. I would describe Cheryl as God loving, beautiful, caring, respectful, extremely intelligent and talented, open, thankful and appreciative. God gifted Cheryl with physical beauty but her inner beauty was truly her greatest gift. Cheryl loved God and all of his creation.
Her love for family and friends was easily seen and felt. Cheryl loved to scuba dive and all its beauty. Cheryl loved to ski and saw beauty in the mountains. Cheryl loved to travel and meet new people. Cheryl loved and so enjoyed animals, birds and plants. We spent many hours working in her yard and gardens. We really enjoyed watching all the wildlife. Cheryl definitely took time to smell the roses. I know to the bottom of my heart that Cheryl lived each day in service of our God. Cheryl openly expressed love for Jordyn, her mother, father, me and all her family. Cheryl always put others first. She always made sure that her friends were included in any activities. Cheryl always showed respect for her parents, my parents, her family and friends. I always felt so important and respected with Cheryl. Cheryl easily met others and seem to never know a stranger. Cheryl was an extremely intelligent lady that carried herself very well and could easily achieve any goal put to her. Even with all of her physical and mental challenges all the way to the end of her life Cheryl expressed gratitude towards our God for such a wonderful life. Cheryl has touched so many people.
I feel truly blessed that we shared love and of all that I have known Cheryl revealed part of her loving soul that I have never seen or felt before. I will miss everything about you Cheryl Horn. We would talk about how we perceived heaven would be and she believed we would be really busy praising God but I can’t help think that God will have a special task for her that allows her to love and touch so many.
What a beautiful soul Cheryl Horn
