Cheryl “Shirley” Gill, 61, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on May 13, 2018 at her home. Shirley the daughter of Laura Annette Baily and Earl William Deason was born on January 11, 1957 in Leesville, Louisiana.
Visitation will begin Monday, May 14, 2018, from 5 PM until time of service at Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM, in the Gospel Community Church in DeRidder, LA with Rev. Cody Smith officiating. Internment will immediately follow at Beauregard Cemetery.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Billy Stracener of DeRidder; three daughters, Paula Sue Springer (George) of DeRidder, Linda Sue Brister of Rosepine, Peggy Sue Brister (J.E.) of Rosepine; two sons, Kenneth Dewayne “Bubba” Gill, Jr. of DeRidder; Kenneth Dewayne Gill, III (Kayla) of Rosepine; 17 grandchildren, and19 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, Earl William and Laura Annette Deason; 2 grandchildren, Brenton Brister, Abigail Gill; great grandchild, Karli Stelly; and by several brothers and sisters.
