Cherie Johnson Stephens, 52, of Leesville passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at her residence in Leesville. Cherie, the daughter of Amos Ferrell and Carol Jean Chisam Johnson was born October 1, 1961, in Fairbanks, AK. Her and Read Obituary
I have known Cherie and her brother Michael most of my life. Our fathers were served in Vietnam during the same period of time. I remember their parents as two of the nicest people I have ever met. Mike is still someone I consider a friend. Cherie will be missed and will never be forgotten by anyone who has ever had the pleasure of knowing her.

David, Mike and family I don't have words to express how truly sorry I am for your loss. Cherie comforted my grandmother after uncle Jimmy died, that LHS homecoming picture of them together always put a smile on her face. It hung in her hall and probably still does. Our family has been blessed many year's with our friendships. Sorry Bill and I missed the service.
My heart felt sympathy goes out to the family. Cheri was my first neighbor when my family and I moved to Leesville in 1983. We,ve managed to remain friends all these years. I'll truly miss her and ask that God keep you strong in your time of sorrow.
