Charlotte Acree Stephens' Obituary
Charlotte Acree Stephens, 64, of DeRidder, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025. She was born on July 13, 1961, to Clifford and Mildred Acree, and spent her life devoted to her family, her home, and the simple joys that brought her comfort.
Charlotte was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her six children,
Randy Stephens Jr. and wife Haylee of DeRidder, Louisiana, Mark Stephens and wife Jessica of DeRidder, Louisiana, Christopher Stephens and wife LaKrista of Rosepine, Louisiana, Sissy Blackmon and husband Jake of DeRidder, Louisiana, Tiffany Stephens of DeRidder, Louisiana, and Samantha Anding of DeRidder, Louisiana.
She is also survived by her sisters Hope Colligan, Penny Carroll and husband Ronnie, Rachel Sharp and her sister-in-law Linda, all of Kentucky.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Randy Stephens Sr.; her parents, Clifford and Mildred Acree; her brother James Clifford Acree; her stepbrother Donald Scott; and her brother-in-law Tommy Sharp.
Charlotte’s heart was rooted in home and family. She loved cooking, reading, watching old westerns, and taking peaceful walks. Her greatest hobby was crocheting, a pastime through which she enjoyed spending with her mom.
More than anything, Charlotte cherished time spent with her grandchildren, who were the joy of her life.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 1:00 PM, with Bro. John Davis officiating, also at Labby Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Whitaker Cemetery.
Charlotte will be remembered for her warm spirit, her gentle presence, and the deep love she carried for her family. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
