Charline Fitts Curtis' Obituary
Funeral services for Charline Fitts Curtis, 84, of Hornbeck, Louisiana will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Hornbeck Bible Baptist Church with the Bro. Buddy Airhart officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery in Anacoco, LA under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm - 8 pm, Friday, October 29, 2010 at the funeral home and on Saturday, October 30, 2010 from 9:30 am until time of service at the church.
Charline, the daughter of Willie and Mary Terrell Duffell was born on July 6, 1926, in Fullerton, Louisiana. She passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Dubuis Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. Mrs. Curtis was a graduate of Simpson High School. She was a manager of Leesville Dairy Queen for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, C.O. Fitts & W. E. Curtis; parents and two brothers.
She is survived by her son, Richard A. & Johanna Fitts of Destrehan, LA; sister, Linda Duffell of Basile, LA; grandchildren, Alanna & Chad Lee of Metarie, LA & Richie Fitts of Destrahan, LA and numerous nieces & nephews.
