Funeral services for Charlie Mae Wilson, 85 of Leesville will be Saturday, December 13th at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Leesville, Louisiana with Rev. Clennon Turner officiating. The burial will follow in the Pinegrove Cemetery Hawthorne, Louisiana. Friends may call Saturday, December 13th from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral at the church.
On Saturday, December 6, 2008, Charlie Mae (Davis) Wilson was called to her heavenly home. She was born in Leesville, Louisiana, October 15, 1923 to Johnny and Beaulah Davis, both of whom preceded her in death.
She met and married John Foster Sr., to this union two children was born. She later married Joseph Wilson. She joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church at an early age and was a faithful member. She was and active member of the choir, deaconess and missions.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons John Foster Jr. (Ann) and Marvin Foster (Linda) both of Leesville, Louisiana; daughter Ann Foster of Leesville, Louisiana; two sisters Verline Martin of Leesville, Louisiana and Beaulah M. Garlington of Santa Monica, California; three granddaughters and one grandson; six greatgrand children; one adopted son Larry Mazyck (Regina) of DeRidder, Louisiana and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends.
