Rhett, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I remember playing golf with him - he was always nice to us young guys.
Charles was a Baton Rouge High classmate who attended many of our class reunions. He wasalways a gentleman and a delight to engage in conversation. May fond memories sustain the family and friends during these difficult times.
We are sorry to hear about your loss.
Thanks Charles for the many fishing trips we took and the friendship throughout the years
Offering prayers for a fallen Soldier.
Mr. Charles will be deeply missed! His family will forever be in my heart and prayers.
Goodbye to Charlie. I'm sure that we'll see him later in another life where he'll be dancing and enjoying himself. That's the way we want to remember him when we were all having so much fun together. Love to you Merle and the family.
Our heartfelt condolences to your family. May the God of all comfort, strengthen you during this difficult time. John 6:40

Jan and I want to express our deepest sympathies to Merle, the family and friends. Charles was a great guy. He was friendly and always projected to be very sincere. He had a great sense of humor. He was a great mentor for his grand children (Cameron and Mallory). Charles liked to talk about his hunting and fishing adventures with his son (Rhett) and grandson Cameron. His grand daughter (Mallory) was the apple of his eye. When Mallory was 16 she went to visit a friend in Alaska. Charles felt Mallory was growing up too fast. Being an US Army Veteran, it is fitting memorialize Charles for his service to his Country --It is the SoldierIn Memorial Honor to Charles W StoutUS ArmyIts the Soldier, not the pastor/preacher, who has given us freedom of religion and worship.
