Charles Ray Shirley's Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Charles Ray Shirley announces his passing on August 27, 2018, at the age of 70 years.
A native of DeRidder, Charles attended DeRidder High School and graduated from Louisiana State University. He was an Educator and FFA Advisor at South Beauregard High School for 33 years.
Charles will be lovingly remembered by his wife of nearly 47 years, Susan Price Shirley, his daughter Shandalin Shirley Mulig (Jason Mulig) of Austin TX, his son Shane Charles Shirley (Ashly Uptigrove Shirley) of Reeves LA, brothers Jeff Shirley (Brenda), Herbie Shirley (Anne), Zack Shirley (Cynthia) and 6 grandchildren: Avery, McKenna, and Cade Mulig of Austin TX & Kyleigh, Payson and Triston Shirley of Reeves LA.
He was predeceased by his father and mother, Marvin Shirley and Wilma Jones Shirley.
A Memorial Service in memory of Charles will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home 2110 Highway 171 South, DeRidder, LA. Visitation will start at 3:00pm with service at 4:00pm.
