Sam was born on August 16, 1996 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to his parents, Charles Kevin Perkins and Vickie Moses Perkins. He passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Sam’s favorite job was being “Daddy”; he loved his baby girl with all that he had and was a proud Dad. He enjoyed his profession as an electrician and was always checking the electrical work everywhere he went. Sam was a kind, polite, loving man who gave the best hugs and never met a stranger. He was friends with everyone he met and would give anyone the shirt off his back. His smile was his trademark. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved shooting guns, fishing, hunting, and exploring the woods. He played baseball all through school and it remained his favorite sport.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Preston Moses and Jo Moses.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Lincoln Blair Perkins of DeRidder; girlfriend, Shannon Gray and her daughter Adalynn of Dry Creek; father, Kevin Perkins of Dry Creek; mother, Vickie Moses Perkins of DeRidder; sisters, Jade Perkins Dickens & husband, Lucas of Texarkana and Holly Perkins Smith & husband, Nick of DeRidder; grandparents, Charles Ronald & Sammie Jo Perkins of DeRidder; his Aunt Sue of DeRidder and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
