Charles Grammar's Obituary
Funeral services for Charles Grammar, 79, of Anacoco will be Wednesday, November 26 at 2 p.m. in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, with Rev. Bobby Ganaway will officiate. The burial will follow in the Old Leesville Cemetery in Leesville, Louisiana. Friends may call Tuesday, November 25th from 6 pm until 8 pm in the funeral home then Wednesday, November 26th from 8 am until service time in the chapel.
Charles passed away Monday, November 24th at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville, Louisiana.
Mr. Grammar was a thirty year member of the Tight Eye Bass Club; he was also an avid bowler, pass member of the All Army Bowling League. He was retired 1st Sgt. First Class E-8, a Veteran of the Korea War and Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, of fifty nine years Marilynn Grammar; sons Charles R. Grammar of Biloxi, Mississippi and Edward A. Grammar of Anacoco, Louisiana; daughters Sandy Calhoun of Springfield, Oregon, Linda Federowski of Anacoco, Louisiana, and Cindy S. Miller of Lynchburg, Virginia, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mr. Grammar was preceded in death by his daughter Peggy C. Grammar; and son-n-law Nick “Ski” Federowski.
