Dorothy and family we were so saddened to hear about the loss of Charles but arehappy to know where he resides now. LThis family (Nail)have so many precious memories of Charles we couldn't count them. All of you are in our prayers.We love you and know only God can give you strength for each day.
Mrs. Dorothy, I was so saddened to hear the news today about your sweet husband. Lauren and Megan came home from school today and told me the news. My heart and my prayers go out to you at this time. I know how strong your faith is, and it is this faith, and the love of so many family and friends that will help you in the days ahead. The DOIM people that I worked with in the 1980's and 90's will always have a great respect for Charlie Goins. He was instrumental in helping a lot of us expand our knowledge and our lives. His presence was always felt in the building and we all knew we had a friend, mentor or whatever we needed and could talk to him at any time. My prayers are with all his family now and in the future. Allow your hearts to grieve so that his memory will become a wonderful remembered gift. May God be with all of you.

Charles was a great friend and co-worker at Fort Polk. We worked on many projects together. He will be missed and I am praying for the family.
