Charles Thomas Dowden's Obituary
Funeral services for Charles Thomas Dowden, 61, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at First United Pentecostal Church in Leesville with the Reverends Malcom Jeane , C. W. Dowden and Clyde Dowden officiating. Burial will follow in the Castor Cemetery in Leesville, LA under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 4 - 10 pm, Tuesday, April 13, 2010 and Wednesday, April 14th from 9:00 am until time of service in the church.
Charles Thomas Dowden passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2010. He was a lifelong resident of Leesville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Harvey and Ollie Legg Dowden, one brother, George Kenneth Dowden, and one sister, Margie Dowden Nash.
Survivors include his significant other, Marion Cleveland; one daughter, Sylivia Hedrick and husband, Gary "Shorty" of Leesville, LA; stepchildren, Dallas and Shelia Hodge of Morgan City, LA., Yvonne and Kenneth Erwin of Hornbeck, LA., Carlos and Diane Kirschener of Oklahoma City, OK., Michelle Weigler of Germany. One granddaughter, Autumn, step grandchildren, Brandi, Amy, Brooke , Carrie, Crystal, Mercedes, Ashley, Britney, Joshua, Matthew, Devan, John, Robert,Eric, J.J., Gary, III, & Joshua H.; one sister, Mildred Bingaman of Leesville, 4 brothers, Clyde Dowden of Pitkin, LA, Earl Dowden of Leesville, LA, Hardy Ray Dowden of Leesville, Lamar Dowden of Leesville, and a host of great grandchildren, and friends.
