May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. 1John 4:16
May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
Chaplain Stannard always welcomed me into his home and to the dinner table when Gail brought me home with her from school. I have very fond memories of him and Mrs. Stannard while in high school in Augsburg. They will be missed.
Mr. Stannard u will be greatly missed...
What a wonderful life! I would say he accomplished his goals and then some! Our heartfelt condolences and much love to Doug and Gail and all of those who loved him! So glad I got to meet him years ago. May his beautiful legacy live on in our hearts forever!
Doug, I have shared Chap's obit with John, Jim, Lydia and Sarah Deane because Chap was the Mayor of Powell Drive for the Deane's and Giles' boys. There wasn't much that could get past him without him being on the phone to me reporting all of their shenanigans. Loved him dearly as well as Eileen, who was the most delicate lady I have ever known. May you and Gail find comfort in knowing they are now together again eternally.
Rest in peace kind sir.
Chaplain Stannard was my next door neighbor. He epitomized love and compassion. He and his family were such a blessing not only to me, but our neighborhood and community. Remembering him with love and gratitude, Gary and Paige McAndrews
To a dear man who will be greatly missed! He was a blessing to all who knew him.
