A bouncing and charming baby girl was born on December 15, 1964 to Michael T. White, Sr. and Dorothy J. Womack in Temple, Texas. This beautiful baby was named Casandra Antoinette Womack.
Casandra grew up in Temple, TX and attended the public school system of Bell County, TX and went on to graduate from Temple High School. Upon graduation, Casandra moved to Leesville, Vernon Parish, LA and attended Lamar Salter Technical College where she received a certificate in Business Administration.
“REDD”, as she was affectionately know, by those who loved her and enjoyed her company, conversation, and compassion. She was employed by AAFES Main Post Exchange and Wal-Mart as a Customer Service Representative. She was dedicated and dependable to those she came in contact with and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
“REDD” enjoyed cooking, traveling, listening to music, and reading. But most of all she enjoyed the company of family and friends.
“I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith.”- These words enabled Casandra to accept those things that she could not change during the course of her illness. She accepted her medical condition with grace and dignity.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Betty Haynes and grandfather, Taft Womack.
She departed this earth on Friday, February 27, 2009 in her home.
