Carrie Butler's Obituary
Carrie D. Butler, 75, was born Feb. 19, 1933 to the late Levi Maxie and Willie T. Joiner. She departed this life on Jan. 16, 2009. She accepted Christ into her life at an early age. She was a prayer warrior and dedicated wife and mother, a homemaker and a friend to all who knew her. She joined Johnson Temple under the leadership of the late Elder Johnson Sr., where she was a faithful member until her health declined.
She was preceded in death by her late husband Milton C. Butler, of 38 years and one son Larry Ray Butler and one sister Georgia Lee Moffett.
She leaves to mourn one brother, Hoy Joiner of Leesville, La.; 14 children; Genevieve Butler and Katina Hick of Leesville, La., Delores Carter, Janice Dixon, Frankie Butler(Angela), Michael Butler(Sherry), Elmer Lee Taylor(Bruce) and Cedric Butler all of Panama City, FL., Milton Butler Jr. of Biloxi, Miss., Darnell Butler(Balettera)of Charleston, W.Va., Clifton Butler, Detroit, MI., Shonta Perry (Samuel) of Raleigh, N.C., Tanye Carney(Anthony) of Clarksville, Tenn., Shameeka Ensley(Marco) of Dallas,Tx.; 35 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; 10 nieces, 5 nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Including 2 very dedicated cousins, Josie and Zella Smith.

Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 23, 2009 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Johnson Temple C.O.G.I.C.
