Carolyn Ann Sexton Stewart's Obituary
Funeral services for Carolyn Ann Sexton Stewart, 74, of Leesville will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008 at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. Jerry Penfield officiating, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Mrs. Steward passed away Thursday, Feb. 14 at her residence in Leesville.
Stewart was born in Douglasville, Texas and was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish. She was a Civil Service employee for 35 years and a member of the First Baptist Church of Leesville. She was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary VFW Post #3106 where she was currently serving as secretary and treasurer. She was a loving, dedicated and unselfish mother.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Lee Stewart of Leesville; sons, Clint and daughter-in-law Perrilyn James of Leesville and Lewis and daughter-in-law Sherry James of Leesville; daughter, Lola and son-in-law, Tony Brown of Leesville; sister, Jennie Sexton Evans of New Boston, Texas; grandchildren, Jessica Kennedy, Justin James, Jarred James, Crystal James, Matthew James, Talon Brown, Steven McDaniel and Christopher Jett; two great-great grandchildren, Micah Kennedy and Quentin Kennedy and numerous nieces and nephews.
