Carolyn Suzanne Austin Myers' Obituary
Carolyn Suzanne Austin Myers, aged 55 passed away on March 4, 2025 at Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria Louisiana. Born on November 6, 1969, Carolyn was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend. Carolyn was the daughter of Victor J. Austin and Frankie Jean Austin.
She was preceded in death by her mother Frankie Jean Austin and one sister Jeanne M. Alexander.
She is survived by her father Victor J. Austin, one son David J. Myers, one daughter Elizabeth J. Myers, one brother Patrick W. Austin, and his wife Amanda, two sisters Sandra L. Stephens and her husband Ricky, Stephanie L. Emerson and her husband Brad all of Leesville Louisiana. She also leaves behind five grandchildren in love Harmony, Jayda, TJ, Chris, Parker and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was known for her nurturing spirit when it came to her children and grandchildren in love. She poured love into every moment spent with them, they brought her immense joy and gave her purpose. She had an appreciation for the simple pleasures in life like singing her favorite songs at the top of her lungs (mostly in the car).
She was buried in Oak Forest Cemetery on March 5, 2025, by the request of her children and family. Her family is having a memorial service in her honor on March 22, 2025 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at South Park Baptist Church in Leesville, 1401 University Parkway, Leesville, LA 71446. Speaking at the service will be Pastor Jesse Buck and her brother Pastor Patrick W. Austin. We also will have a short period of time for loved ones and friends to say a short memory or comment about Carolyn.
