Carolyn Gunn McCaig passed from this life on August 23rd, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; her parents, Stella and Donald Gunn; and her younger sister, Gwen McClain. Carolyn leaves behind two sons, Pat McCaig a Read Obituary
I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Mccaig for 4 months and she would always brighten up my day and smiled so big and pretty every time she had seen pat walk in the door. When I would talk to her she would give me the biggest most prettiest smile ever. I loved her. Prayers for her family.

Carolyn was a very sweet and nice lady--always in my experience of knowing her throughout high school and time in deridder when she and Tom moved back. She was gracious and in the mid 90's when i had the occasion to visit ft smith, arkansas and Tom invited myself and my wife to eat with them. On short notice a great was prepared and we enjoyed visiting that evening. We have missed she and Tom since his death and her move to WAco area. Tom and sweet wife are cousins and are now residing in heaven with the LORD!!

I had the pleasure of taking care of McCaig for a year. She was the light of everyones day. That smile could light up the night. I loved and took care of her like my own. She would smile from ear to ear when she seen her son Pat. Wonderful woman inside and out. She will be deeply missed. My condolences to the family.
