Carol Elizabeth Hillman's Obituary
Funeral services for Carol Elizabeth Hillman, 63, of Simpson, Louisiana will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2013, at the Simpson Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Netherland and Bro. Jeremy Blocker officiating. Burial will follow in the Welcome Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 30th from 3 pm - 9 pm, and on Friday, May 31st, from 9 am until service time in the church.
Carol, the daughter of Clyde Edward and Virginia Sager Netherland was born January 28, 1950, in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. She passed away Monday, May 27th at MD Anderson in Houston, TX. Carol was an accountant for Lamar Salter Louisiana Technical College in Leesville and Alexandria. She was a member of East Leesville Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters, Jennifer Elizabeth Hillman & Melissa Ann Hillman; sisters, Lisa Marie Netherland and Barbara Lynn Spurgeon and nephew, Steven Johnson, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Dale Hillman of Simpson, LA; son Rodney Dale Hillman & wife, Gloria of Minden, LA; daughter, Susan Marie Hillman of Simpson, LA; brother, Steven Netherland & wife, Shaunda and their daughter, Sara Netherland of Simpson, LA; sister, Becky Maloyed & husband, Don of Simpson, LA; grandchildren, Brittany Trosper & George Michael Trosper and great grandchildren, William Hillman & Dwayne Bard.
