Funeral services for Calvin “Billy” Williams, 67, of Leesville, LA will be held Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Johnson Temple C.O.G.I.C. in Leesville, with Rev. Maurice Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Memorial Cemetery in Leesville. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home.
Bro. Calvin Williams was born July 29, 1942 in Desoto Parish. As a child Calvin attended Union Springs Baptist Church where he was baptized at an early age under the leadership of Rev. J. J. Jones. In his later years he worshipped at Wayside Temple C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of Rev. Harris.
On May 6, 2010 Bro. Calvin Williams was called to be with his heavenly father. He has now joined God’s Army where he will be meeting his wife, Lottie Williams, his parents, three brothers, two sisters and his son Anthony E. Williams at Heaven’s door. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his four daughters, Alice (Micheal) Ford, Monica (CL) Trule, Jessie Williams all of Dallas, TX & Carolyn (Gregory Johnson) Williams of Leesville, LA, five sons, Calvin (Angela) Williams of Dallas, TX, Tommy Lee (Tammy) Williams & Ray B. Williams both of Leesville, LA, Robert Lee Williams of Lakeland, FL & Charles Ray (Dionna) Williams of Arizona, one step-daughter, Jackie Maxie, two step-sons, Marshal & Robert of Many, LA, twenty-one grandkids, five great grandkids, four step grandkids, three brothers, Matt (Brenda) Williams, & William Williams both of Leesville, LA & Henry (Norma) Marsh of Dallas, TX, three sisters, Mammie Hanyes of Leesville, LA, Winnie (Jesse) Kelly & Joann (Jerry) Samuels of Mansfield, LA, three special people, Tameka Williams, Yolanda Holmes, & Cornell Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.
