Burnette Williams' Obituary
Burnette Williams was born to the union of Ezell and Susie Pearl Kenebrew on November 5, 1953. She joined the First Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor L.C. Williams and continued her many dedicated works under the leadership of Pastor James L. Gaither, Jr. Sister Burnette served the Lord and her church in many different capacities. She was the President of the Usher Board, a Deaconess, Sunday School Secretary, and the Secretary of the Women of Grace Mission.
Burnette united in Holy Matrimony with David Williams in August 1984. They took delight in their children, Eric Bledsoe and Dedra Williams.
On April 2, 2018, God saw fit to call his dedicated servant home. Sister Burnette Williams was preceded in death by her husband, her brother, Ezell Kenebrew, and after his passing she assumed guardianship of his children. She went above and beyond to ensure their well-being and care. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Burnette leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Eric Bledsoe (Quayondra) of Leesville, LA, daughter, Dedra Williams of New Llano, LA, five grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. She also leaves her sisters: Linda Richardson of Leesville, LA, Polinette Gilbert of Leesville, LA, Gladys Brown (Arthur) of Blythewood, SC, Lucille Payton of New Llano, LA, Gloria Mingo of Leesville, LA, Sandra Lawton of Leesville, LA, and two brothers: Edward Kenebrew (Barbara) of Leesville, LA, and David Johnson (Rosa) of Leesville, LA. A host of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Cousins, friends and church family will also remember her dearly.
