Bryan David Taylor's Obituary
Bryan David Taylor, a beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on May 12, 2026, in Alexandria, Louisiana. Born on July 14, 1977, in DeRidder, Louisiana to Roger Dale Taylor and Anna Marie Taylor. Bryan was known for his quick wit and precious soul that touched the lives of everyone he met.
He was soft-hearted and strong, always giving to others and deeply loved his family.
An outdoorsman at heart with an adventurous spirit—Bryan found solace camping under the stars or exploring the trails while four-wheeling. He also enjoyed shooting. His passion extended beyond nature; he loved traveling to attend concerts where music filled him with happiness. An avid car enthusiast too—there was nothing more satisfying than fixing cars.
He was preceded in death by his father Roger Dale Taylor.
Bryan is survived by his loving mother Anna Marie of Leesville, LA; son Christopher Chase Taylor of DeRidder, LA brothers Mark Taylor (Deborah) of Crestview FL and Kevin Taylor (Megan) of Leesville, LA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews: Amber Weaver (Josh), Azyia Vega (James), Brianna Blinn (Kendric), Hailey Taylor, Zach Taylor, Zoey Taylor; along with one great niece and three great nephews who brought immense joy into his life.
Despite facing a lengthy illness that tested his strength over time—a testament to how strong-willed he truly was—Bryan remained generous until the end. His giving nature left an indelible mark on all who knew him; whether it was lending a helping hand or sharing laughter during difficult times.
A memorial service honoring Bryan’s life will be held on Friday May 22nd at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville at 2:00 P.M., where friends can gather together to celebrate this remarkable man whose legacy will live on through cherished memories shared among loved ones.
