Bronnie Faye Cronce's Obituary
Funeral services for Bronnie Faye Cronce, 81, of DeRidder, Louisiana, will be held at 10 A.M., Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, Louisiana, with Bro. Mark Land and Bro. Tim Bergen officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Mrs. Cronce passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010, in Beauregard memorial Hospital in DeRidder. Visitation will be from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M., Monday, July 26, 2010, and from 9 A.M. until time of the service, Tuesday, July 27, 2010 all in the funeral home.
Born in Des Arc, Arkansas, she was the wife of a career Army serviceman and traveled the world during his career, to include her favorite tour of duty in Alaska. She was a homemaker and had also been employed in the family trucking business and for Fletcher’s Feed and Supply. She attended Broadlands Bible Church in DeRidder. Her passions were her family and gardening, contributing to countless other gardens by sharing from her garden.
She is survived by two sons, Derrall L. Cronce and wife Sue and Joseph E. Cronce and wife Kelly, both of DeRidder; daughter Andrea C Gallien and husband Mike of Houston, TX; four brothers, Q. Z. Hambrick and Raymond, Hambrick, both of Des Arc, AR, Alton Lloyd Hambrick of Ojai, CA, and Rodger Hambrick of Little Rock, AR; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Lewis Andrew Cronce and one son, Ronald A. Cronce, two brothers, Gerald Max Hambrick and W. T. Hambrick, one sister, Erma Bess Butler. The family requests donations be made to the paralyzed Veterans of America, Ph. # 1-800-555-9140. Pallbearers will be Chris Owen, Chad Cronce, Blaine Cronce, Andrew Cronce, Marshall Shannon, Corey Kerr, Mike Gallien and Ress Cronce.
