Brian Keith Perkins' Obituary
Brian Keith Perkins, the son of Eleanor Perkins Irey & Jimmy Lamarr Irey was born on November 7, 1967 in Oakdale, Louisiana.
He left this life on Monday, July 21, 2025 from injuries received from an auto accident.
Brian was born, raised and a lifelong resident of Pitkin, Louisiana. He was a Boiler-Maker by trade. When he wasn't traveling for work, He was always on, "Some Road" going hunting and fishing. You never knew what "treasures" he would drag home from his endeavors. You never saw him without his "Grizzly longcut Wintergreen" he should have had them as his traveling sponsor, because he kept them in business. There was nothing he done that he didn't take it to its full limit, or even time to time over the limit. He lived life to its fullest, never a dull moment. When he laughed, you couldn't help to laugh with him. He would help you in any way he could, but you'd have to find your own shirt. He enjoyed being a shade tree mechanic, but he always seemed to get more shade than work done.
He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Lamarr Irey, his grandmother Lorene P. Perkins, father-in-law Jerry L. Johnson, and step-father Donnie "Big Donnie" Ray Moore.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jojuanna "Jo" McCauley Perkins of Pitkin, La; sons, Shaun Perkins of Pitkin, La, Jaxson Perkins of Pitkin, La; daughter, Alexus Perkins (Landon) Pollock of Leesville, La; grandchildren, Hunter Pollock, Mason Pollock, Addie Pollock, Kenzie Perkins; mother, Eleanor Perkins Moore of Pitkin La; sister, Elizabeth Irey (Gary) Nolen of Pitkin, La; brothers, Jeffrey (Bridgette) Calhoun of Needville, TX; Randall Perkins of Pitkin, La; nephews, Dakota Nolen, Levi Nolen, Detric Williams and nieces, Elizabeth "Cheyenne" Nolen, Whitney Frew.
