Funeral services for Brent Murphy McDowell, 39, of Alexandria will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017, at 2 pm at Agape Church of God In Christ in Leesville, with Superintendent Ronald Jones officiating. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 18th, from 1 pm until time of service at the church.
Brent the son of Murphy J. Myers, III, and Diana Lynnwoods, was born on August 23, 1977, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017, in Alexandria, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his fiancée, Melissa Branch of Alexandria; son, Ranee Reed of New Orleans; daughter, A’mani B. McDowell of Leesville; brothers, Murphy Sartain, Bruce McDowell, Derlin McDowell & Douglas Woods all of New Orleans and Shawn McDowell of Leesville and his grandmother, Antoinette Peck of New Orleans.
