Bonnie Mae Holifield's Obituary
Funeral services for Bonnie Mae Holifield, 97, of Leesville, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 21, 2023, in the East Leesville Baptist Church of Leesville with Bro. Tommy Kicker and Bro. Gil Arthur officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 10:00 A.M– 11:00 A.M in the church.
Bonnie was born on April 8, 1926 to her parents, Louis A. Robertson and Ida Hillman Robertson. She passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 in Leesville.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Odell James Holifield, brothers; Dan Robertson (Verla), Dewey Robertson (Mildred), Jake Robertson, (Alma), Eloi Robertson (Helen), Bud Robertson (Emilee), sisters; Euna Dowden (Leon), Ruth Woodle (Hoyt), Ruby Faulk (Doughty), Billie Dowden (Glen), great grandson; Zeffrey Waddle.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Pat Browning (Don) of Lake Charles, La, Karolyne Christian (Doug) of Leesville, La., brother; Jack Robertson (Agnes) of California, three granddaughter; Tina Price (David), Pam Bennett (Reggie), Christi Potter (Troy), three great granddaughters; Kristin Bennett, Morgan Potter, Paige Potter, five great grandson and five great-great grandchildren.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Zachary Caudle, Nicholas Caudle, Hayden Bennett, Blake Bennett, Wesley Waddle, Blaine Berkley.
The family would like to express special thanks to granddaughters, Tina, Pam and Christi for all the loving care you gave Mamaw.
