Mrs. Hardin taught Special Ed at Rosepine when I started school in 1963, and her classroom was right across the hall from out 1st grade class. I visited with Mrs. Hardin everyday, from 1st thru 4th grade. When I made it to 5th grade, she had also become our 5th grade teacher that year. I loved Mrs. Hardin so very much. After she left Rosepine Elementary, I still saw her occasionally, throughout the years, at ball games, and election schools. She always remembered me, and gave me a hug, each and every time. I lost touch with her in recent years, but thought about her often. She will always hold a special place in my heart. RIP Mrs. Bonnie, you will be missed! ♥️😢♥️
What great memories I have of Mrs Hardin. She was such a fantastic teacher who really expected a lot out of her students and she gave a lot to them. I had her in 5th grade and have so many wonderful memories of her. She taught me all the capitals of the 50 states!! What an inspiration.
She was my 5th grade teacher but her and Mr. James were good friends to the Murray family long before that. My condolences to her children, family and friends.
