Bobbye Laurien Nothnagel's Obituary
Bobbye Laurien Nothnagel passed from this life to her heavenly home on May 22, 2017 at the age of 81. Bobbye was born in Alco, LA on 11/29/1935 to Henry and Velda Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Gene Nothnagel and son Gregory Brock Nothnagel, and sister Mavis Sweeton.
She is survived by her eldest son Mike Nothnagel and wife, Bobbye, daughter Cheri Miller, sister, Bonnie Gregory, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and many many wonderful friends.
Bobbye was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and Fidelis Sunday School Class. Bobbye, with her feisty personality and guidance, helped numerous people in recovery. Her international travels had given her much knowledge of the culinary arts and she took great pride in her cooking talents. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Bobbye’s family requests donations be made to Mid South Division of the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be from 2 P.M. until 4 P.M., Wednesday, May 24, 2017, with the service to follow at 4 P.M., all at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in DeRidder.
