I served with CSM Pendley at Ft Leonard Wood from 1972-1974. He was always a First Class soldier and inspiration to those who served with him. I am delighted to see he acquired the top rank of CSM during his career. God speed to him.1Lt. Steven Worth
I am so sorry to hear about my cousin's passing. My prayers are with Penny and the family. I have fond memories of Bobby staying with us while he was stationed in San Francisco. Of course, I was a little kid, but I looked up to him, literally. He used to make me laugh when he would make a muscle to make the fat lady. Bobby was a great guy. Even though distance was between us, you always think of and love your relatives. The last time I saw Bobby was when Aunt Iladean passed. Praying for all to find peace.
Bobby was my cousin, a gentle giant. He was a kind, sweet man. I never got to see him much but always loved the times he came home to visit. I remember how proud he was when his daughter Penny was born. Rest in peace Bobby.
