Bob was an extraordinary person with many gifts & always there to help others. Once he gave me a cutting of his blackberry bush which yielded the largest juiciest berries ever & another time he gave me a large amount of venison from a recent hunt. I'm glad to have known him. Bob will be missed here while Heaven rejoices at his arrival.
My condolences to the family. We attended Northwestern and both were members of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity. He was always ready to help you out.May he RIP.STAN PARHAM
My heart is breaking for all of us who knew him. Especially Lydia Jane, Gretchen, Shane and all those dear grandchildren whom he loved. Never fear. He is still with you. A love this strong remains unbroken by distance or time.

DeRidder and Sigma Tau Gamma National Fraternity have lost a very good soul. I was honored to know Bobby and his family. Although he was older than me we were able to talk about fond memories of NSU and Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity. We also shared stories of deer hunting. His dedication to education will never be forgotten. Brother Bob rest in peace. Ronnie Paul Kern
