Bobby, the daughter of Robert and Ida Brister Hanna was born October 24, 1940, in Alexandria, LA. She went home to be with the Lord Jesus on March 6, 2012. Mrs. Clayton has lived in Anacoco since 1992. She was of the Assembly of God faith and a member of Trinity Christian Center. Mrs. Clayton would visit Deer Creek Hospital in Leesville, where she would pray for and anoint the patients, building and practice. Her family and friends knew that she was the go to person for all issues, no matter the time of the day or night. They would often find that she had been praying for them before they ever knew it. She believed in prayer and church was her life. She loved flowers and every conversation you had with her ended in “I Love You”. She always put others first, thinking of herself last. She left behind a beautiful legacy for her family and friends. If you knew her you were a truly blessed person.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Hanna and Ida Brister Hanna.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Ray Clayton of Pitkin; son, Buddy Clayton & wife Heather of Moss Bluff; daughters, Pat Clayton-Diaz & husband John of Bedford, TX & Debbie Gill & husband Landry of Pitkin; brothers, James “Bo” Hanna of Leesville & Elmer Joe Hanna of AR; sister, Becky Riggs of OK; 9 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren.
