Bobbie Lea Storozyszyn, 76, of DeRidder, LA., passed from this life on Monday, June 18, 2018 at her home. Bobbie the daughter of Pearl Gunter and Thurman Athern Whitley was born on November 10, 1941 in DeRidder, Louisiana.
Visitation will begin Thursday, June 21, 2018, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, in the Chapel at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 22, 2018, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, Louisiana with Rev. Roger Gill officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Hopewell Cemetery.
Bobbie was a native of Vernon Parish, Louisiana, she moved to Beauregard parish in 1981. After graduating from Rosepine High School she attended and graduated from Spencer-Draughon Business College in Shreveport, LA. with a degree as a Professional Secretary. She had a variety of jobs throughout her life and retired as a secretary at Beauregard Parish Airport in DeRidder, LA. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Joseph F. Storozyszyn, III of DeRidder, LA.; daughter, Christine Louise Chamberlain (Scott) of Leesville, LA.; sisters, Sue Franklin of DeRidder, LA., and Shirley Taylor of DeRidder, LA; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
