Billy Horton's Obituary
Funeral services for Billy Horton, 74, of Anacoco, Louisiana will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013, at the First United Pentecostal Church in Leesville, LA with Rev. M. C. Green and Rev. Mark Christian officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery in Anacoco, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 6th from 6 pm - 9 pm, then Saturday, December 7th from 8 am until service time all at the church.
Billy, the son of Louis S and Mary E Horton was born April 1, 1939 in Anacoco. He passed to his heavenly home Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in Alexandria, LA.
Billy worked for Imperial Hardware in Leesville for 48 years as an Appliance and A/C refrigerant repairmen. He was a longtime member of the First United Pentecostal Church. Billy loved hunting and fishing, and he truly loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bobby Joe; daughter, Janet Renee; granddaughter, Christina Horton; brothers, Alvin, Willard and Iva Lee; sisters, Elsie and Lucille.
Billy is survived by his wife of 53 years Carline Horton, children David Paul and wife Rosemary Kasprzak and Douglas Ray and wife Linda Horton; his brothers, Muriel Horton of Anacoco, Johnny Horton of Leesville and Cecil Horton of Crosby, TX; sisters, Estelle Burns and Melba Pruitt of Anacoco, Miriam Eason of Many, LA and Dorothy Sanders of Mobile, AL; nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
