I remember the days in the library at Anacoco High School working on the yearbook and studying World Geography for the literary rally. Mr. Burns had the patience of a saint. I was a classmate of his daughter, Donna. RIP Mr. Burns.

Mr. Burns was my Principal at Calvary, as I taught Third Grade there. He was the most kind and patient man I had ever known. He was never late to school and always had an encouraging word to share. I remember his hands were so misshaped because of arthritis but he never complained, and I know they must have hurt him. Wow - how he loved Judy! Donna, I remember your courtship with Tommy Robinson and the kids that you would inherit and what a blessing you would bring to this family. Your family is blessed with an awesome Dad who was respected and loved by many, and my life was enriched just by knowing him. I left Calvary and became a School Counselor and Mr. Burns encouraged me to follow my dream--and I did. What a man!!
I remember Mr. Burn's Civics class! He was an awesome teacher! We need civics classes taught today with Mr. Burn's passion, maybe the world would be a better place! Condolences to the family.
