Funeral services for Billy Ray Ayres, 57, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2012, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Craft Cemetery in Leesville under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m., Thursday, March 8th, and on Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Billy, the son of Lester and Katherine Walker Ayres was born February 6, 1955, in Coushatta, Louisiana. He passed away Monday, March 5th, at St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA. Mr. Ayres loved to fish and drive big trucks. He loved playing with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Ayres; children, Mary & Bobby Bessinger & Melissa Johnson & fiancé Robert Phillips all of Leesville; brother, David Ayres of Haughton, LA; sisters, Shirley & James Ferguson of Mansfield, LA, Dorothy & Wayne Slay of Mansfield, LA & Kay & Gary Bonnette of Coushatta, LA and grandchildren, Meleah Johnson, Makayla Johnson, Joshua Price & Braiden Bessinger.
