Billie Moore's Obituary
Billie Moore, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. She was the devoted wife of the late Bobbie Moore, with whom she shared a loving marriage from November 26, 1954, until his passing on January 17, 2018.
Billie is survived by her son, Ricky Moore of Christiana, TN; her daughters, Brenda Foley of Pickering, LA, Rose Allotto of New Iberia, LA, and Nancy Goodloe (Sam) of Murfreesboro, TN. She was also a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother to many who will miss her deeply.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Willie Blackman, and her sister, Betty Jordan, & her granddaughter, Wendy Durocher. She is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Dora Troy and Myrtle Foil, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Billie dedicated many years of her life to the Pickering school system, where she served as the cafeteria manager. Her kind heart, warm smile, and strong work ethic left a lasting impact on countless students and staff.
She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her gentle spirit, and the quiet strength she carried through life. Her legacy of kindness and devotion lives on in all who knew her.
Services will be held to honor her memory on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Cooper Cemetery in Pickering. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
