Funeral services for Billie Faye Dowden, 88, of Leesville, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 22, 2021 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery in Slagle.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 22, 2021, from 12:30:00 P.M until time of service in the funeral home.
Billie was born on August 23, 1932 in Slagle, Louisiana to her parents, Lewis and Ida Hillman Robertson. She passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 in Leesville, Louisiana.
Billie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen Dowden; son, Randall Dowden; son-in-law, Loyd Ramey Jr., and eight brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Kenneth L. Dowden of Leesville, LA; daughters, Glenda Ramey of Rogersville, TN and Suellen Anderson & husband David of Leesville, LA; sister, Bonnie Mae Holifield of Leesville, LA; 7 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
